Profile : Andrew Ahmad-Cooke

Andrew has had over twenty years of experience working in the music industry; as a musician, sound recording engineer and record producer.

From 1989 he worked recording and producing audio-books for the R.N.I.B., working with artists including Michael Palin, Terence Stamp, Dirk Bogarde and Rolf Harris.

From 1996 he co-founded Big Clever Records, an independent record label. Running this project involved all aspects of the industry including: recording and producing, liaising with artists, distribution companies, manufacturers and printers. He also organised the label's promotional events and concerts.

Andrew has co-written and produced albums for:

Since 2005 Andrew has been working as a tutor for On Track Educational Services at their centre in Mildenhall. He teaches Music Technology and Personal, Social and Health Education to teenagers with challenging behaviour.

In 2003 he began editing the on-line publication En Theos Magazine. He also works as a trustee for The Mountain Trust.
